We stayed at Echo Shores twice this summer. Once at the end of May and then again at the end of July. Both stays were great and I can't speak highly enough about the Owners, Pat & Amy and their kids Hunter, Arrow, and Blaze. Extremely accommodating and helpful to any needs. The lake access is great, the water is so clear, and we caught a ton of smallmouth bass. We rented a pontoon boat for 4 days and had a blast fishing and swimming from it on Little Long Lake. The cabins are perfect for the price. The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, and everything we need to cook and eat our meals at the cabin and it was a very comfortable space for me and my wife along with our two boys (6, 9). If you're looking for a luxury stay though, this is probably not for you. Echo Shores Resort is also just minutes to Ely, so it's a quick drive to town for anything you might need. I rented a cabin for the Ely half marathon. It was so convenient as the race started right at the end of their driveway. Our lil cabin was perfect. It had everything we needed. We heard good things about the lake it is on, but we ran out of time & never got out on the water. We can hardly wait to go back next year. Amy & Pat were super helpful & very friendly.
Pat and Amy are very accommodating and the resort was very clean! Great people and a great spot to stay!

Lots of room to roam for kiddos. Nice little sandy beach with kayaks, canoes, and paddleboats. Sweet hiking across the road on the bass lake trail. I enjoy grabbing a canoe and taking it out on bass lake and dry and high lakes. I don't post reviews normally but to see anyone rate less than four stars boggles my mind. Stay in the cities if you can't grow fond of these warm inviting atmosphere Pat and Amy have created.
Have been staying here since Amy and Pat became the owners. Sometimes 3 trips a summer. I've brought numerous friends who in turn have continued to return on their own. Have never been disapointed. Cabins are always clean, dry and comfortable. Proud to call Amy, Pat and the boys friends!
We stayed with extended family for a long autumn weekend in one of the larger cabins. The accommodations are modest but comfortable. Loved that they are dog-friendly. Close to lots of hiking. The gas grill was not operational and we had to bring our own linens. Kitchen was well-equipped and the space was quiet.
